The team at Northstar Global
Partners firmly believes that investors and CEOs - indeed,
anyone who manages or deploys capital - can benefit
from thinking about where the world is headed. Whether
contemplating how globalization is affecting emerging
markets, theorizing on what biotech will mean for our
bodies 10 years hence, or pondering the meaning of corporate
responsibility, taking time out from day-to-day decisions
can reap benefits down the road - for our companies
and for us.
Northstar Global Partners would like to provide a Forum
for these kind of discussions. Our first step was to
hold an actual, physical Forum, which took place in
Austria in 2002. In 2003 we expanded our vision and
partnered with Terrapinn to produce Funds World Africa
2003 which was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. We
hope this site can serve as a virtual extension of our
conversation -- we’ll post news, stories, speeches,
research and anything else that relates to examining
the future and our place in it. Please feel free to
